Description text goes hereA: Parents play a crucial role in the safety and well-being of their children. A first aid course equips them with essential skills to respond effectively to common childhood emergencies. Parents who complete a specialised paediatric first aid course are more confident when responding to unexpected illness and injury and are also more attentive to potential risks that exist in the home.
Most first aid courses are typically tailored to workplace requirements, and therefore focus on adults. Our courses are specifically about paediatric first aid and focus on the most common illnesses and injuries suffered by children during different stages of development. -
The courses cover a range of topics tailored to parents, including CPR for infants and children, choking relief, basic wound care, recognizing and managing common childhood illnesses, and more.

Courses range from 2-4 hours. Our infant and toddler courses typically last 3.5 hours and are delivered in a single session. It combines hands-on practical training with informative discussions to ensure parents feel confident in their skills. Other courses combine on-line learning with practical face-to-face sessions.

Please note, our courses are not governed by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (national regulator for the VET sector). We cannot issue qualifications or certificates of competency for any ASQA regulated Units of Competency. If you require specific child first aid accreditation we recommend you undertake training with an RTO that delivers that specific qualification. ASQA qualifications are designed to meet industry (workplace) requirements. Our courses are all about educating parents with high quality training that is not just about ticking boxes. -
